Job Description

JOIN THE SEYSES TEAM
Make an impact in the Renewable Energy sector. SEYSES is an international engineering and construction company specialized in renewable energy, with offices in Spain, the United States, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, and Brazil. Our global vision and flexibility allow us to successfully deliver utility-scale renewable energy projects worldwide. We are currently looking for Electrical and Mechanical Inspection Technicians to support field-based inspection activities on utility-scale photovoltaic projects across the United States, during the EPC End of Warranty (EoW) phase.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform on-site inspections of utility-scale solar plants during the End of Warranty phase. Carry out thermographic inspections (IR) on electrical components and systems. Perform torque verification (bolting checks) on mechanical structures and tracker systems.
Inspect key components including:
PV modules Tracker systems DC/AC cabling Inverters Combiner boxes Support inspection of MV/LV electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. Identify defects, non-conformities, and installation issues, and report findings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site (electrical, mechanical, and civil). Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA) and company procedures. Prepare inspection reports and support documentation.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in utility-scale solar projects (construction, QA/QC, or commissioning). Strong field experience (on-site work required).
Hands-on experience with:
Thermography (IR cameras) Torque tools (preferred) Electrical testing or mechanical inspections
Knowledge of:
Solar PV systems (modules, trackers, inverters) DC/AC systems For electrical roles: Experience with MV/LV systems (high voltage experience is a plus) Ability to travel frequently to project sites across the U.S. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
