Overview Join our dynamic team as a Solar Technician and be at the forefront of renewable energy innovation! In this energized role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar power systems across various commercial and residential sites. Your expertise will help drive sustainable solutions while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every project. Duties Install solar panels, inverters, wiring, and related electrical components following blueprints and schematics with precision. Conduct system inspections to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards such as NEC (National Electrical Code). Troubleshoot electrical issues involving high voltage and low voltage systems using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately assemble and connect system components. Perform roofing work when necessary for panel mounting, ensuring secure fixture installation and safety adherence. Skills Strong electrical experience with a focus on high voltage and low voltage systems. Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for precise installation. Knowledge of NEC standards relevant to solar power systems and electrical safety protocols. Experience as a commercial electrician or in construction environments involving electrical work. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for installation and maintenance tasks. Familiarity with roofing techniques related to solar panel mounting systems. Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions for fixture installation. Construction site experience with an understanding of safety procedures and teamwork dynamics.
