Job Overview ES Solar is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Solar Installer to join our growing commercial construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on rooftops and ground-mounted sites. Your work will help deliver efficient, safe, and reliable renewable energy solutions for commercial clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that support sustainability and long-term energy independence. Responsibilities Install and assemble solar panels, racking systems, electrical components, and related hardware on commercial sites using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate system installation. Assist with the installation and connection of electrical wiring in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and company safety procedures. Conduct site assessments and assist with project preparation and material staging. Safely operate forklifts and other construction equipment as needed. Perform general construction tasks related to solar system installation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and job-site safety requirements. Experience Solar installation experience preferred; commercial construction experience is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Familiarity with electrical systems and NEC standards preferred. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to work at heights on rooftops and elevated structures. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. OSHA certification or other industry certifications are a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
