Job Description

Construction Support and Quality Lead Job Summary SunPeak, a nationally-recognized commercial solar provider, is looking for a full-time Construction Support and Quality Lead to join its team. The ideal candidate will share our values of excellence and integrity and will be interested in contributing their skills in a key role. As the Construction Support and Quality Lead, you will support solar construction crews by ensuring quality installation practices, assisting with project planning, helping resolve field issues, and improving communication between field crews and management. This role acts as a resource for foremen while helping maintain safety, productivity, and installation standards across projects. This role works both in the office and in the field.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform field quality inspections on racking, modules, and electrical installation Support foremen with layout questions, installation issues, and project coordination Assist with project planning and upcoming work preparation Verify work is completed per plans, specifications, and company standards Help track project progress and identify deficiencies early Conduct safety observations and support jobsite compliance Coordinate punch list completion and closeout items Document field conditions with photos and reports Communicate issues between field crews, project management, and engineering Assist with training and standardization of installation practices
Ideal Background:
Solar construction experience preferred Strong understanding of commercial rooftop or ground mount systems Ability to read plans and construction documents Good communication and organizational skills Problem-solving mindset and leadership ability
