Job Title:
In-house Granite Countertop Installer/Templator We are seeking an experienced Granite Countertop Installer/Templator to join our team. This is a full-time, in house position responsible for the professional installation of granite, quartz, and other natural and engineered stone countertops in residential and commercial settings. Position Overview The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the stone fabrication and installation industry, as well as knowledge of accurately templating countertops. This role involves precise on-site installation, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely with large, heavy parts. The position requires physical stamina, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship that meets both company and customer expectations. Install equipment, including vehicle and trailer will be provided. Key Responsibilities- Safely transport, handle, and install large and heavy stone counters at job sites.
- Perform accurate countertop installations, including leveling, securing, and finishing.
- Execute precise seam preparation and joining using epoxy and color pigments.
- Apply caulking and sealants for professional, water-resistant finishes.
- Conduct final inspections and touch-ups to ensure installations meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all customer locations.
- Collaborate effectively with the management and fabrication teams. Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience installing granite, quartz, or solid surface countertops.
- Strong knowledge of stone installation best practices and industry standards.
- Ability to safely lift and maneuver heavy materials (50+ lbs regularly).
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites within the service area.
- Basic understanding of how countertops are measured to fit. Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Experience with digital templating systems, specifically LT3 Raptor software and hardware. If you do not yet possess this skill, we will provide training, as this is a multi-role position. Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time position: 40 hours per week.
- Overtime as needed based on project demands.
- Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience.
- Two weeks paid vacation annually.
