Job Overview Bio Hazard Plus is an award-winning, well-recognized leader in biohazard clean up and bioremediation industry, offering top-of-the-line professional biohazard cleanup services. For more than 20 years our team of Biohazard/Hoarding Cleanup technicians have been providing 24 hour hoarding remediation and biohazard recovery services such as death cleanup, suicide cleanup, blood cleanup, rodent droppings cleanup, biohazard removal cleanup and more, to families and businesses throughout the U.S. We handle every aspect of biohazard cleanups. Our professional staff specialize in working with law enforcement agencies, fire departments, morgues, hospitals, hotels, and motels, churches, communities, and other private and public agencies. We are seeking energetic and dedicated Biohazard and Hoarding Cleanup Technicians to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently cleaning and restoring environments affected by biohazardous materials and hoarding situations. Your work will help clients reclaim their spaces while ensuring safety, health, and sanitation standards are met. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through compassionate service and meticulous cleanup processes. Duties Safely remove biohazardous materials, including bodily fluids, waste, and other hazardous substances, following strict safety protocols. Sanitize and decontaminate affected areas using appropriate disinfectants and cleaning techniques. Assist with hoarding cleanup by sorting, organizing, and removing clutter in a respectful and efficient manner. Operate specialized equipment such as power tools, hand tools, and possibly excavators or other machinery to facilitate cleanup tasks. Disassemble or dismantle damaged fixtures or structures as needed for thorough cleanup or restoration. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and safety procedures followed. Follow all health and safety regulations related to biohazard handling, including proper disposal of waste materials.
Requirements Minimum age:
18 Valid California Driver's License Clean background (background check will be required) Required to pass drug screening test. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Able to work with a respirator and full PPE (personal protective equipment) for long periods of time. Able to pass power tools training. Must reside within 30 to 60 minutes of the office location you are applying for. Must have reliable transportation for travel to office locations. Must be available for flexible schedule and on-call work, as needed. Must have a working cell phone - able to send/receive phone calls and text messages. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as lawn care machinery or irrigation systems. Experience operating heavy machinery like excavators or performing construction-related tasks is advantageous. Ability to work in physically demanding environments requiring lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or walking. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for documentation and safety compliance. Compassionate attitude with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
