Job Description
Granite Accents and Tile is looking for a reliable, hardworking Handyman/Construction Worker/Granite Fabricator to join our growing team.
Requirements:
- Own reliable vehicle
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
- Basic hand and power tools
- Construction or handyman experience in plumbing, drywall, electrical, framing and/or granite fabrication
- Dependable, motivated, and able to work independently
- Able to lift and carry heavy construction materials.
- References/proof of experience
- Forklift certification and experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- General maintenance, construction and remodeling assistance
- Support construction projects by measuring, cutting, assembling frameworks, and installing fixtures or materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Tile, countertop, and home improvement projects
- Custom stone fabrication
- Handle materials/tools with care, including loading, unloading, and organizing supplies in warehouse or fabrication areas
- Job site preparation and cleanup
- Material pickup and delivery as needed
- Operate heavy equipment/machinery safely
- Other duties as assigned Experience Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environments is highly desirable Familiarity with fabrication processes, especially related to granite or stone materials Hands-on experience operating forklifts and heavy machinery preferred Mechanical knowledge including the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining techniques Knowledge of materials handling procedures and safety standards in industrial settings Ability to read technical drawings or blueprints is a plus but not required

$25.00- $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 16
