This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential remodels to large commercial installations. As a Tile and Stone Setter, you will be instrumental in creating beautiful, durable surfaces that meet exact specifications and client expectations. Duties Measure, cut, and install tiles and stones with accuracy according to blueprints, schematics, and project plans Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying suitable adhesives or mortar for optimal adhesion Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to cut, shape, and install various materials including ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and other natural stones Read blueprints and schematics to ensure precise placement of tiles and stones in alignment with design specifications Perform surface preparation tasks such as concrete forming, plastering, or masonry work as needed for installation readiness Conduct quality inspections during installation to ensure adherence to safety standards and project quality requirements Collaborate with construction management teams on estimating material needs and scheduling tasks efficiently Skills Extensive experience with tile laying, stone setting, and related fabrication techniques Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., trowels, chisels), power tools (e.g., saws, drills), and heavy equipment operation for cutting and installing materials Experience with construction inspection to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle Join us to build exceptional spaces while advancing your skills in a supportive environment that values your expertise!
