•Are you a methodical, team-oriented problem solver? Do you enjoy following instructions and producing polished work? Newman Windows and Doors is seeking an experienced and reliable Stucco and Drywall Installer who takes pride in their work for our Carlsbad and Orange locations.
Job Details:
Must have experience with removal and installation of stucco and plastering. Must have experience with removal and installation of drywall. Experience with wood repair and finish preferred Must feel comfortable communicating clearly with our customers. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot variations of stucco.
Job Requirements:
Must be comfortable to climb ladders and scaffolding. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to pass a drug screen and a pre-employment physical. Demonstrate safety and superior cleanliness on-site. Professional attitude. Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM with potential Saturday and overtime work. Freedom to use your own tools. Must have 2 years experience Responsibilities Lead installation projects from start to finish, ensuring all work meets quality standards and client expectations. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively during installations. Read and interpret schematics to accurately execute installation plans. Perform welding tasks as needed for specific projects. Execute trim carpentry work, including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials. Lay tile according to design specifications, ensuring proper alignment and finish. Conduct construction estimating to provide accurate project timelines and material requirements. Train and mentor junior installers, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
