Job Description

About the Role Huge Home Pros is hiring an experienced Lead Bathroom Remodeler / Tile Setter who can run high-quality bathroom remodel and tile projects from demo through completion. This is not an entry-level helper or basic tile position. We are looking for someone who has personally completed full bathroom remodels, shower waterproofing, tile layout, shower pans, wall tile, floor tile, niches, trims, grout, and final punch-list work. The right person takes pride in clean prep, proper waterproofing, sharp tile layout, professional communication, and finished bathrooms that clients are excited to review, refer, and show off. You will not be completely on your own. We provide helpers and additional support when needed, and we bring in licensed trades for plumbing, electrical, or specialty work when required. But you do need to be capable of leading a job, staying productive, communicating clearly, and producing quality work without being micromanaged. You will:
Help deliver bathroom remodels that earn 5-star reviews Become a dependable part of the team that managers and coworkers can lean on Take ownership of projects from demo through final punch-list Build bathrooms that are clean, waterproofed correctly, well-planned, and finished with pride Create a client experience where homeowners feel informed, respected, and confident Help prevent callbacks by doing the prep, waterproofing, layout, and finish details the right way Lead helpers in a productive, professional, and organized way Help the company grow through quality work, client referrals, and repeat business Be recognized and rewarded for strong production, clean communication, and dependable results Build a long-term position with a growing company that values craftsmanship, accountability, and teamwork What You'll Do Lead bathroom remodel and tile projects from demo through completion Install shower pans, wall tile, floor tile, niches, trims, grout, and finish details Waterproof showers using systems such as Schluter, Wedi, HydroBlok, GoBoard, or similar Layout tile with attention to symmetry, transitions, edges, and finish details Read and follow scopes of work Coordinate with managers, helpers, clients, and licensed trades Perform basic remodel carpentry, drywall, trim, and punch-list work when needed Keep job sites clean, protected, organized, and safe Upload job photos, notes, and updates through company apps Identify change-order opportunities when additional work is needed Required Experience You must have proven experience with: Full bathroom remodels Shower waterproofing from start to finish Tile layout, cutting, leveling, setting, grouting, and finish details Shower wall tile, shower pans, bathroom floors, niches, edges, and transitions Reading and following a scope of work Working cleanly in occupied homes Communicating professionally with clients and team members Showing up on time and staying productive throughout the day You should be able to confidently explain which waterproofing systems you have used, how you install them, and why you prefer certain methods. Skills That Increase Pay The more you can handle, the more valuable you are to our team. Additional experience with the following is a plus: Finish carpentry Baseboards, casing, doors, and trim Drywall repair and texture matching Vanity and cabinet installation Fixture installation Painting and touch-ups Leading helpers Client communication Change-order awareness Strong production speed without sacrificing quality Requirements Valid driver's license Clean driving record Reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check Most of your own hand tools and core tile tools Ability to lift 50+ lbs as needed Clean, professional appearance Strong attention to detail Comfortable using a smartphone/app for job photos, notes, and updates Able to work full-time Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend availability when needed Must be punctual, reliable, and team-oriented Must be able to provide photos of recent tile, shower, bathroom remodel, or waterproofing work Must be able to provide professional references from past employers, supervisors, contractors, or clients Pay & Benefits $35-$50/hour depending on experience and skill level Performance bonuses based on job budget performance Commission on approved upsold portions of jobs Opportunity to earn a company vehicle after a trial period Mileage reimbursement when using your personal vehicle for approved work travel Steady full-time W2 work Organized projects with clear scopes Supportive team environment with accountability Growth opportunities as the company continues expanding This Is a Good Fit If You take pride in proper prep and waterproofing You care about clean tile layout and finish details You want your work to lead to 5-star reviews and referrals You show up on time and stay productive You can lead a helper without creating chaos You communicate professionally with clients You want to be someone the team can count on You want steady work with a growing company This Is Not a Fit If You have not personally waterproofed full showers You do not have real tile installation experience You cannot provide photos of recent work You cannot provide professional references You need daily micromanagement to stay productive You cut corners on prep, waterproofing, or finish details You do not want to work as part of a team
Pay:
$35.00 - $50.00 per hour
