Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented paver/flagstone installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing durable and visually appealing paving stones and flagstones to enhance outdoor spaces. Your expertise will help transform landscapes into beautiful, functional areas that clients will enjoy for years to come. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your craftsmanship, and contribute to high-quality hardscape projects. Responsibilities Prepare the worksite by clearing, leveling, and excavating the area to ensure a solid foundation for paving stones and flagstones Measure and layout installation patterns accurately according to project specifications Operate tools such as compactors, saws, levels, and hand tools to install paving materials securely Use an ohmmeter to test electrical components or systems related to outdoor lighting or other integrated features when necessary Mix and spread mortar or sand bedding layers to ensure proper adhesion and stability of stones Inspect finished work for quality, alignment, and durability, making adjustments as needed Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris safely throughout each project Experience Prior experience in paving or flagstone installation is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices in construction or landscaping projects Knowledge of safety procedures related to outdoor construction sites is essential Basic understanding of electrical testing with an ohmmeter is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed Join us in creating stunning outdoor environments!
