Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Perform carpet extraction, bonnet cleaning, and spot treatment in guest rooms and public areas. Perform scheduled and on-demand pressure washing of exterior walkways, loading docks, pool decks, and garage areas. Operate and maintain all machines, wet vacs, and air movers; stage and secure equipment. Identify carpet fiber types and select appropriate chemicals and dwell times to prevent damage. Treat stains (coffee, rust, wine, gum) using correct methods; document before/after results. Coordinate room access with Front Office to minimize guest impact and drying time. Adhere to safety, lockout/tagout when needed, and proper chemical dilution and storage. Set up safety perimeters and signage; manage hoses, water sources, and slip hazards. Adjust nozzles, PSI, and detergents appropriate to surfaces (concrete, stone, pavers, stucco).
Qualifications:
Hotel or commercial floorcare experience required; IICRC certification preferred. Knowledge of carpet chemistry, pH, and stain identification/removal techniques. Able to lift/move equipment 50+ lbs and transport between floors/areas. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail to avoid over wetting or wicking. Comfort using radios and basic maintenance ticket systems. We are an E-Verify employer.
