In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating raw granite, quartz, and stone materials into high-quality countertops and surfaces, as well as professionally installing finished products at residential and commercial job sites. Your expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional craftsmanship, precise installations, and outstanding customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced fabrication equipment, hands-on installation projects, and a fast-paced environment dedicated to quality and excellence. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other machinery to safely handle, transport, and position granite slabs within the shop and at job sites Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, polish, finish, and prepare stone surfaces according to design specifications Measure and mark materials accurately for precise fabrication and installation using mechanical knowledge and fabrication techniques Perform countertop installations at residential and commercial locations, including transporting materials, setting countertops, leveling surfaces, securing seams, and ensuring proper fit and finish Install sinks, faucets, backsplashes, brackets, and other related countertop components as needed Handle materials safely within the warehouse, fabrication shop, and customer job sites while maintaining organization and care of materials and finished products Perform machining tasks including cutting, grinding, polishing, edge detailing, and assembly of granite and quartz components Conduct quality checks throughout both fabrication and installation processes to ensure adherence to company standards and customer expectations Communicate professionally with team members, contractors, and customers during installations to ensure smooth project completion Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, materials handling, transportation, and use of personal protective equipment Experience Prior experience in stone fabrication, countertop installation, manufacturing, construction, or related trades is highly preferred Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, polishing equipment, and machining processes related to stone or similar materials Experience installing granite, quartz, marble, or solid surface countertops is strongly preferred Knowledge of measuring, templating, leveling, and securing countertop installations accurately and efficiently Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts or cranes is a plus Basic mechanical knowledge related to machinery maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials safely as part of fabrication and installation duties Experience working in warehouse, fabrication shop, or job-site environments demonstrates strong organizational skills, craftsmanship, and safety awareness Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Join our team if you're eager to develop your skills in a vibrant environment where craftsmanship, precision, and customer satisfaction come together.
