The Taper plays a critical role in preparing bathroom surfaces for refinishing by masking and protecting all surrounding areas to ensure a clean, professional finish. This is a hands-on field position requiring precision, speed, and a strong work ethic. Duties Carefully tape off and mask all surrounding surfaces including walls, floors, fixtures, faucets, drains, and tile to protect from overspray and chemicals Apply plastic sheeting and painter's tape with precision to create clean, sharp lines Inspect masking work before coating application to ensure full coverage and protection Remove all tape and masking materials cleanly after resurfacing is complete without damaging surfaces Assist the lead technician with surface preparation tasks such as cleaning and light sanding as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the job Follow all safety protocols when working with resurfacing chemicals and coatings Transport and organize tools and supplies between job sites Requirements Strong attention to detail and ability to work carefully in tight spaces Ability to work efficiently to meet daily job schedules Reliable transportation to job sites Ability to kneel, bend, and work in confined bathroom spaces for extended periods Punctual, dependable, and a team player Must be able to follow directions and communicate effectively with the lead technician

Compensation & Schedule Day Rate:

$100 per day Schedule varies based on job bookings; typically Monday-Friday Pay issued per job/day completed
