In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring a variety of tile surfaces across residential, commercial, and restoration projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces by laying durable, aesthetically pleasing tile work that meets high standards of quality and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new installations to complex restorations, utilizing your skills in tile laying, flooring installation, and related construction tasks. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install tiles with precision on floors, walls, backsplashes, and other surfaces according to project specifications and blueprints. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate adhesives or mortar for optimal tile adhesion. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate placement and layout of tiles. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing tiles. Perform surface preparation tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, and floor care to ensure a seamless finish. Assist with related construction activities including fixture installation, cabinet setup, water damage restoration, and remodeling projects. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in tile laying, flooring installation, or related construction fields. Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading skills. Skilled in using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, as well as power tools like saws and grinders. Familiarity with schematics, construction drawings, and restoration industry practices. Experience with caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, concrete finishing, painting, buffing and general handyman tasks is a plus. Ability to work on construction sites safely while managing multiple projects efficiently. Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and floor care best practices is advantageous.
