In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for expertly installing fiber cement siding on residential buildings, ensuring durable, high-quality results that enhance curb appeal and protect structures. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install fiber cement siding panels accurately according to project specifications and blueprints Prepare surfaces by ensuring proper framing, sheathing, and weatherproofing before siding installation Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to complete installations Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of siding materials while maintaining safety protocols on-site Seal joints with caulking and perform trim carpentry to achieve a polished finish Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to meet project timelines and quality standards Skills Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, chisels, levels, as well as power tools including saws and drills Strong background in construction site experience across various trades like roofing, masonry, framing carpentry, stucco application, and remodeling Knowledge of metal stud framing, plumbing integration, masonry work, welding techniques, tile laying, concrete forming, restoration projects, and drywall finishing Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance throughout the workday Skilled in caulking for weatherproofing joints and trim carpentry for aesthetic detailing Familiarity with fabrication processes related to fiber cement materials and adherence to safety standards in construction environments This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive working independently on exterior siding projects.
