Tile Installer / Tile Setter Tile Grout Masters of Charlotte is continuing to grow, and we're looking to add a skilled Tile Installer to our team. We are a locally owned, veteran- and family-operated company proudly serving the Greater Charlotte area. We're seeking someone with experience, strong attention to detail, professionalism, and pride in their craftsmanship. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of residential, commercial, remodeling, and restoration projects while being part of a supportive and professional team environment. Job Summary The Tile Installer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of tile surfaces with precision and quality workmanship. The ideal candidate has experience in tile installation, surface preparation, remodeling, and customer interaction, along with the ability to work independently or alongside a team to complete projects efficiently and professionally. Responsibilities Measure and prepare surfaces for tile installation Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and project plans Install ceramic, porcelain, stone, glass, and other tile materials Mix and apply grout, mortar, thinset, caulking, and related materials Ensure proper spacing, leveling, waterproofing, and adhesion Perform floor preparation, concrete repair, and water damage restoration as needed Complete remodeling-related tasks including trim work, fixture installation, painting prep, and minor carpentry Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Maintain clean, professional job sites and high-quality finishes Communicate professionally with customers and team members Assist with material estimates and project planning when needed Qualifications Proven experience in tile installation and related construction work Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of flooring installation techniques and surface preparation Comfortable reading blueprints, layouts, and technical drawings Experience with hand tools, power tools, and general remodeling work Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Professional appearance and communication skills Dependable with a strong work ethic What We Offer Company vehicles provided for transportation to and from job sites Company uniforms plus all tools and equipment supplied Steady, year-round work with a consistent flow of projects Supportive, professional, and team-oriented work environment Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding company If you take pride in your work and want to be part of a growing company that values craftsmanship and professionalism, we'd love to hear from you.
