Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Installer with a problem solving and can-do mentality to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, manipulating, and fabricating granite, quartz, and solid surfaces. They will also have experience communicating professionally with various internal departments and customers while on-site. To apply for this position, you must have specific, documented experience installing stone and/or solid surface countertops at a previous place of employment. All others will not be considered. This person must have a clean MVR and pass a Lowes background check.

Responsibilities:
Report to our production shop location first thing in the morning to verify that your company truck is clean, stocked, organized, and in good working order. Receive your scheduled installation work orders for the day. Check for inclusion of all necessary parts and pieces on staged fabrication a-frames. Load assigned a-frames into truck in a safe and secure manner. Drive to jobsite locations (typically within 1 hour of the production shops). Complete assigned installations on first trip. This includes but is not limited to setting seams, drilling holes, mounting sinks, cutting, polishing, repairing, and cleaning materials. Collecting customer payment when applicable upon completion of installation and customer sign off. Communicating any job-related issues or key information to our project managers and being available to receive similar information from them while out in the field. Completing and notating job progress in our ERP software (either on a tablet or on a cell phone). Bringing back your company vehicle to the production shop upon completion of all assigned installs, leaving it clean and empty of any trash or leftover pieces of material. Guiding and being responsible for your assigned installation helper. Representing the company and yourself in a professional manner while in the company vehicle and on customer job sites. This includes wearing a company uniform.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: At least 3 years of experience installing granite, quartz, or solid surface surfaces. Ability and desire to adapt to job site circumstances with an eye on doing whatever is necessary to complete the installation on the first trip. Familiarity and experience using trade specific tools. Ability to pass a comprehensive background check. A valid NC Drivers License and a clean MVR. Experience safely operating box trucks and sprinter vans. Experience with and the desire to learn ERP software to complete job installation activities. The ability and desire to work until the job is complete. This means being available to complete early morning, after hours, or Saturday installations. Ability to cut, fabricate, and manipulate all related materials while in the field to complete the installation. Experience and the desire to lead, guide, and coach your installation helper. The ability to stand for long periods of time, climb up and down stairs, lift up to 100 lbs. with a team member and work in various weather conditions. Effective communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Typical Work Hours:
