Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Turn Team Technician with strong skills in drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, tile, flooring, and general property maintenance. This role requires a reliable, self-motivated individual who can handle unit turn projects across multiple locations, performing repairs, upgrades, and finishing touches to ensure units are ready for new tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive unit turns, including painting, cleaning, and repairs. Execute minor and moderate drywall repairs, carpentry projects, plumbing fixes, electrical work, tile installation, and flooring repairs. Conduct inspections and troubleshoot maintenance issues to ensure units meet company standards. Maintain personal tools and equipment in good working condition. Travel reliably between multiple property locations as needed. Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to prioritize tasks and meet move-in deadlines. Document work completed and report larger maintenance or safety concerns. Assist with move-in/move-out logistics as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in residential or commercial maintenance , including drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, tile, and flooring work. Must have own hand and power tools necessary to perform duties. Must have reliable transportation to travel between multiple properties. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical labor. Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
