Entry-Level Tiler in Akron, Canada We are hiring an enthusiastic and hard-working Entry-Level Tiler to join our team in Akron, Canada. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing tiles in various settings such as homes, offices, and commercial buildings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone without experience who is looking to start a career in the tiling industry.Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning and leveling them
- Mix and apply adhesive materials to secure tiles to surfaces
- Install tiles in various patterns and designs
- Seal and polish tiles to maintain their appearance
- Repair or replace damaged tiles as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to use various tools such as tile cutters, trowels, and levels
- Physical stamina to stand, kneel, and lift heavy materials for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Canadian citizenship or valid work permit
