Field Technician — Chimney & Masonry Cornerstone Chimney | West Chester, OH About the Role Cornerstone Chimney is a residential chimney and masonry service company built on honest customer education and quality craftsmanship. We're looking for a field technician who takes pride in doing the work right and communicating clearly with homeowners. This is hands-on field work — inspections, repairs, rebuilds, and water protection — on existing residential structures, not new construction. What You'll Do Execute masonry repairs including tuckpointing, brick replacement, crown repair, and flashing work Install chimney caps, dampers, and liner systems Apply water repellent treatments and sealants to masonry surfaces Rebuild deteriorated chimney structures to IRC and

NFPA 211

standards Operate hand tools and power tools safely — trowels, chisels, angle grinders, vacuums, and mixing equipment Communicate findings and completed work to the customer and the office clearly and professionally Follow all job site safety protocols, including fall protection on roofs What We're Looking For Hands-on masonry or chimney experience — CSIA certification a plus but not required Comfort working on rooftops and in confined spaces Ability to read a scope of work and execute without constant supervision Honest, dependable, and takes ownership of their work Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Compensation Base salary plus production bonus tied to company revenue.
