C&T Design and Equipment Co., Inc. is a full concept food service design and equipment supply company that provides services from conception to completion, including consulting, design, development, engineering, project management, and installation. With offices across the US, we are a large, privately-owned commercial food service equipment dealer with over 150 employees. We are seeking a full-time equipment Installer to support our Cincinnati, Ohio branch as part of our internal growth strategy. The person who fills this position will need to be in-office in Cincinnati, with daily travel to surrounding jobsites with frequent travel nationally. Role Overview :
The equipment Installer will perform skilled work in the delivery and installation of commercial kitchen equipment. This work includes loading and unloading of trucks, uncrating equipment and setting in place, constructing refrigerated walk-in boxes, metal trim fabrication, working construction sites with daily travel to the surrounding jobsites and frequent travel nationally to jobsites. C&T Design will provide the employee with the necessary equipment and technology to be successful in this role. Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
✔ Deliver and install specialized commercial kitchen equipment at various job sites, ensuring everything is set up to our high standards. ✔ Maintain accurate, detailed records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance services performed. You'll take ownership of your work by completing delivery tickets, work orders, and daily time logs. ✔ Drive company vehicles to various job assignments, ensuring you and the necessary equipment arrive at job sites safely and on schedule. ✔ Follow all on-site safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself, your teammates, and our customers. ✔ Assume responsibility for the care and operation of all tools and machinery, ensuring they are in peak working condition. ✔ Use your mechanical mindset to navigate installation challenges and assist with routine tasks as needed to get the job done right the first time. Education :
High School Diploma or GED Experience :
Basic experience with hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment. Skills :
✔ You hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. ✔ Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and D.O.T physical. ✔ You enjoy active work and are comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs., climbing, and working in various environments. ✔ The ability to read blueprints or wiring diagrams. ✔ Experience with metalworking. ✔ A basic understanding of plumbing or electrical systems.
