Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Carpet & Tile Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of various types of carpet in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Carpet & Tile Installer will ensure that all installations meet high-quality standards and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Measure and cut carpet to fit specific areas, ensuring accuracy and precision. Prepare surfaces by removing old flooring, cleaning, and leveling as necessary. Install carpet using appropriate techniques, tools, and materials. Layout Tiled floors or walls in accordance with product specifications Waterproofing and Tile installation for Custom Showers. Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations. Read blueprints and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements. Assist with additional tasks such as drywall repair, cabinet installation, trim carpentry, and remodeling when needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process. Skills Proficiency in flooring installation techniques, particularly carpet and tile. Strong knowledge of waterproofing with Schluter Systems or equivalent. Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications. Familiarity with floor care procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.
