Granite Installer Helper

Role Summary Supports the installation team by preparing tools and materials, helping move and position stone pieces, maintaining jobsite safety, and ensuring efficient workflow during countertop installs. Key Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading stone countertops and slabs Help carry, position, and set stone materials using proper lifting techniques Prepare jobsites (clear work areas, protect floors/cabinets, set up equipment) Operate or assist with suction cups, clamps, dollies, and lifting tools Mix and apply adhesives, silicone, and seam fillers as directed Hold pieces in place during leveling and fastening Clean and finish installed surfaces and work areas Follow safety procedures for heavy and fragile materials Support lead installer with measurements and adjustments Maintain and organize tools and installation supplies Skills & Requirements Ability to lift heavy materials (often 75-150+ lbs with team lift) Comfortable working on jobsites and inside customer homes Basic hand tool familiarity Strong teamwork and communication Attention to detail Reliability and punctuality Willingness to learn installation techniques Common Work Environment Residential and commercial construction sites Kitchens, bathrooms, remodel projects Indoor and outdoor loading areas Physically active, on-your-feet work
