Granite Polisher iWorkforce Solutions Lake Dallas, TX Job Details Full-time $17 - $18 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Safety protocol adherence Shop math Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description Granite Polisher $17-18/hr depending on experience Full-Time, 40/hrs + Available OT 1st shift 7 am to 4 pm Monday - Friday Health, Dental, and Vision You will receive: Uniforms and Proper PPE Room for growth, with personal training to improve knowledge in fabrication and machine operations. As part of our fabrication line a Granite Polisher will gain product knowledge and train with team members to progress with machine operations. Polish material/parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand and power tools Verify the quality of finished workpieces by inspecting, comparing to templates, measuring dimensions, and marking any defects for possible rework Teamwork; helping coworkers in other stations if needed Maintain a clean station Responsible for wearing all personal protective equipment (safety glasses, earplugs, waterproof gear, face mask, etc.) Experience desired as a Granite Polisher Fabricating Marble, Granite, and Quartz Construction, Industrial and Manufacturing fields, fabrication Polishing, grinding finish materials such as (glass, iron, steel, natural stone, etc.) Machine operations (f orklift, overhead crane, boom lif t) Knowledge and skills required to be a successful Granite Polisher Basic math skills (adding and subtracting measurements) Basic mechanical knowledge (hand tools/power tools) Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs Safety awareness This job requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
