Synthetic Turf Grass Installer

Position Summary:

The Synthetic Turf Grass Installer is responsible for the installation of artificial turf grass systems for residential and commercial projects. This position assists with site preparation, grading, material installation, and cleanup while ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to company safety standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors in a physically demanding environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare job sites for turf installation, including grading, leveling, excavation, and debris removal
• Install artificial turf according to company and manufacturer standards
• Measure and cut artificial turf materials to fit designated areas accurately
• Spread and compact base materials as required for proper installation
• Assist with drainage preparation and irrigation considerations as needed
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and light equipment safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, transport, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and job sites
• Clean job sites to required daily standards
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, and customers when necessary
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Skills:

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to read measurements and follow installation plans or instructions Good communication and teamwork skills Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Ability to learn and follow safety procedures and installation techniques Ability to work independently with minimal supervision when needed

Education, Licensing, and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record and minimum of 3 years' driving experience
• Must meet company fleet insurability requirements and minimum age requirement of 23 years old
• Experience in safely towing and maneuvering trailers behind company vehicles required
• Previous landscaping, synthetic turf installation, construction, and outdoor labor experience required
• Experience operating landscaping or construction equipment is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and direct sunlight
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment
