Landscape Technician : Hardscape Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual that is able to install and maintain: Hardscape features including: patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other stone or concrete structures Lighting fixtures and designs Irrigation system installations and maintenance This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills in construction and fabrication, and contribute to creating stunning outdoor landscapes. Duties Install and construct hardscape elements including pavers, brickwork, stonework, retaining walls, and concrete features using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise execution of project designs. Operate heavy equipment safely for excavation, grading, and material placement to prepare sites for hardscape installation. Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam for project documentation, measurement verification, and communication. Perform site inspections to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines. Fabricate custom stone or concrete components as needed for specific project requirements. Apply finishing techniques including concrete finishing, caulking, sealing, and surface treatments to enhance durability and aesthetics. Experience Proven experience in landscape construction with a focus on hardscape installation Familiarity with blueprint reading Hands-on knowledge of hand tools (trowels, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and heavy equipment operation (excavators, skid steers). Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites along with the ability to perform inspections effectively. Pay:

$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
