North Reading, MA & Westford, MA Job Overview Sweepnman Inc. is hiring a full-time Chimney Sweep Technician to join our Sales & Client Relations team. This is a customer-facing, hands-on role ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with clients, and tackling physical work. You'll perform chimney inspections, sweeps, and minor repairs while providing homeowners with expert advice and safety recommendations. Key Responsibilities Perform chimney sweeps, inspections, and diagnostics according to industry standards. Conduct Level I and II inspections and provide safety recommendations to homeowners. Educate clients on services, necessary repairs, and chimney system health. Operate ladders, scaffolding, and safety gear with confidence at elevated heights. Document findings and complete reports using mobile software tools. Collaborate with team members and report project details to management. Maintain clean and professional appearance at all job sites. Follow safety protocols and adhere to company standards. Help identify sales opportunities and upsell relevant services and products. Continue professional development through paid training and certifications. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable daily transportation. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools. No fear of heights; must be comfortable working on rooftops and ladders. Dependable, honest, and strong communication skills with clients. Sales or customer service experience is a plus. Masonry or general trade background is helpful but not required. CSIA Certification is a plus, but not required-training is available. Background checks will be completed in compliance with applicable laws.
