Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Weatherization Technician Specialist, where you will play a vital role in improving energy efficiency and comfort for our clients through comprehensive weatherization projects. This hands-on position involves installing and sealing air ducts, combustion air openings, or ventilation openings; repairing and installing storm windows and storm doors, installing weather stripping and site cleaup and enhancing residential living by applying your construction skills and mechanical knowledge. You will work closely with your team members to ensure high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards. Your expertise will help reduce energy costs and promote sustainable living practices, making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve. Responsibilities Utilize hand tools and power tools to install insulation, caulking, weatherstripping, and other energy-saving measures. Paying attention to detail to inspect materials for defects, perform quality checks, and ensure proper installation. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and project progress to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, hammers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) essential for installation tasks. Knowledge of insulation materials such as foam board, fiberglass batts, spray foam; etc. Must have the ability to work independently and follow written/oral instructions. Must be reliable and punctual for appointments and job completion. Ability to work safely at residential sites while adhering to all safety protocols; and following professional conduct standards.
