Now Hiring:
BPI/BAT Certified Technicians Join Our Growing Team! Efficient Power & Light (EPL) is a veteran-owned, Brandon, MS-based company on a mission to make energy efficiency simple, accessible, and impactful. We are seeking motivated BPI (Building Performance Institute) / BAT (Building Analyst Technician) Certified Technicians to help us become the regional gold standard in energy efficiency and home performance. Position Overview As an EPL Technician, you will move beyond simple contracting into mass-scale deployment of energy solutions. You will perform comprehensive energy audits, diagnostic testing, and recommend high-impact solutions to improve building performance for our residential and commercial clients. Key Responsibilities •
Comprehensive Assessments:
Conduct energy audits and identify waste to create actionable savings strategies. •
Diagnostic Testing:
Perform blower door tests, duct leakage testing, and combustion safety testing. •
Solutions Identification:
Identify energy efficiency improvements including insulation, air sealing, and HVAC optimization. •
Reporting & Communication:
Accurately document findings and communicate results clearly to customers. •
Standards Compliance:
Ensure all work meets EPL's "Specialist" quality standards and safety protocols. Qualifications •
Required:
Current BPI Certification (Building Analyst Technician or equivalent). •
Experience:
Preferred background in HVAC, insulation, or home performance. •
Skills:
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently in the field. •
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. What We Offer •
