Job Description
Job Overview Midwest Performance Group is actively seeking a Measure Technician for a locally owned home improvement company serving the Dayton region. This is a field-based position for someone who enjoys working independently, meeting homeowners face-to-face, and delivering a professional, high-quality customer experience. Duties Travel to scheduled in-home appointments within a defined service area Take accurate measurements for home improvement projects (windows, doors, roofing, siding, bathrooms, etc.) Organize and manage warehouse cleanliness and inventory. Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, answering questions and explaining next steps Review project details to support accurate quotes and smooth installations Record measurements and job details Coordinate with sales, scheduling, and installation teams Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail Consistently meet standards for accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction Experience Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage a daily appointment schedule High attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable using tablets or mobile devices Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Prior experience in home improvement, construction, measuring, or in-home sales is a plus (but not required)
