Partners serves the Eastern Wisconsin counties of Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Ozaukee, and Milwaukee. About theRole:
Looking for a hands-on career in home energy efficiency and weatherization services? Join our team as a Weatherization Technician and help improve homes while making a positive impact in your community. This role is perfect for individuals with experience in construction, home improvement, or maintenance, or those eager to learn new skills in energy-saving solutions. Install attic insulation, sidewall insulation, floor insulation, vents, weather-stripping, and other energy efficiency upgrades. Learn and apply weatherization techniques and home energy-saving methods. Safely operate power tools and specialized equipment. Assist with loading/unloading vehicles and managing inventory. Complete assigned work to quality standards. Participate in training programs and seminars. Maintain customer property and confidentiality. Collaborate with team members and supervisors.Qualifications:
Willingness to learn specialized equipment (blower doors, pressure diagnostics, digital analyzers). Knowledge of home improvement, carpentry, or insulation installation. Ability to read work orders and perform basic math for material estimates. Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse customers. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in challenging environments and extreme weather. Comfortable working at heights (up to 4 stories) and in confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces). Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. Valid Wisconsin driver's license, auto insurance, and good driving record. Keywords forSEO:
