Department:
James | Radiation Oncology Scope of Position The Aria Administrator functions as an integral member of the Department of Radiation Oncology of the Medical Center. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, this position provides supportive services for all specialties within the Department of Radiation Oncology. The Aria Administrator is thoroughly familiar with Radiation Oncology workflows and the Aria software, which is coupled with strong organization and documentation skills, which can be leveraged to: administer the Aria application by creating and modifying the software through the vendor provided tools, develop and lead education for new radiation oncology staff and supportive services upon hire, works with super users in each specialty during upgrades to ensure appropriate training of Aria users, and provide continuous review of workflows to identify those with opportunities for increased safety and/or efficiency. Position Summary The Aria Administrator in the Department of Radiation Oncology is a member of the Radiation Oncology team who is responsible of the development, coordination, and organization of Aria Electronic Medical Record system education. Serves as the primary contributor and consultant for patient care services in the planning, design, development, implementation, functionality and evaluation of the Aria Electronic Medical Record system that supports and enhances clinical practice, administrative and management needs and patient outcomes. Acts as the principle resource with clinical knowledge and computer expertise to coordinate and provide support for all new and current applications and software upgrades applicable to the clinical systems. Responsible for the analysis, design, testing and implementation of complex clinical information systems and solutions. Prepares detailed specifications. Conducts assessments of the clinical environment and identifies implications for system implementations, and acts as a facilitator for those changes in the clinical environment. Will advise end-user training on clinical applications to ensure understanding of functionality and the development and design of training programs. Minimum Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
