Armed and Unarmed Patrol Officer

Overview We are seeking a vigilant and professional Armed Patrol Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a highly responsible individual with a strong background in law enforcement, security protocols, and conflict management. The ideal candidate will be prepared to respond effectively to emergencies and maintain a secure environment through proactive patrols and surveillance. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, providing appropriate action and support Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to observe and report security concerns Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, ensuring the safety of individuals on-site Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies Manage conflicts effectively through conflict management skills, de-escalating situations when possible Conduct loss prevention activities by identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing corrective measures Requirements Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles preferred Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations Knowledge of surveillance systems including CCTV operation and monitoring techniques First aid and CPR certification highly desirable Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations professionally Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions during emergencies Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in surveillance activities Ability to pass background checks and meet all legal requirements for armed security personnel Physical fitness suitable for patrol duties and responding swiftly to incidents

Pay:

$18.00 - $26.00 per hour
