Armed Security Guard

Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the facility using surveillance equipment and physical inspections to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including situations requiring conflict management or law enforcement intervention Enforce access control procedures by verifying identities of visitors, contractors, and employees before granting entry Administer first aid or CPR when necessary, providing immediate assistance in medical emergencies until professional help arrives Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records to ensure accurate documentation of all security activities Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents while adhering to legal protocols and company policies Requirements Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on conflict management and loss prevention (preferred) Valid certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and first aid procedures Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and legal standards related to security operations Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts professionally and effectively Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with emergency responders or law enforcement agencies Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as required by the role

Pay:

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
