MUST HAVE RED SORA CERTIFICATION

We are seeking vigilant and dependable Armed Security Guards for a cannabis dispensary to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. In this role, you will engage customers in a professional manner, monitor activity through surveillance systems and maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats. This is a straightforward post in a controlled environment, where you will be stationed at the front entry, verifying IDs and managing access. Your proactive and professional approach will help create a safe and welcoming environment for both employees and customers. Key Responsibilities Monitor and operate surveillance systems (CCTV) to oversee key areas Verify identification of all visitors, contractors, and staff entering the dispensary Control access to the facility in accordance with state and company policies Maintain accurate logs of daily activity, incidents, and security checks Enforce safety, security, and loss prevention procedures Provide a strong, visible presence to deter unauthorized activity Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary Qualifications & Skills Valid SORA Certification required (no exceptions) Must be available to work weekdays and weekends Strong attention to detail and observational skills Professional demeanor with excellent customer service and de-escalation abilities Ability to remain alert and focused during extended shifts Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols Strong communication and reporting skills Must have transportation Must have level 3 holster
