Mon - Fri 6:00am - 2:30pm Overtime Offer! Job Description This role focuses on final assembly of small mechanical components in an armory environment. You will carefully take all parts of the product and assemble them into a complete, high-quality finished unit while following established procedures and quality standards. Responsibilities Perform small parts final assembly by accurately fitting and securing all components into completed products. Work at a designated workstation while standing for extended periods to complete assembly tasks efficiently and safely. Use basic hand tools and power tools to assemble mechanical components according to specifications. Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and diagrams to ensure correct assembly of each product. Inspect assembled parts and finished products for quality, accuracy, and completeness before moving them to the next stage. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with facility and safety guidelines. Meet daily production and quality targets while maintaining strong attention to detail. Identify and report any defects, discrepancies, or issues with parts, tools, or equipment to the appropriate personnel. Essential Skills Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand how parts fit and work together. Ability to perform mechanical assembly tasks with strong attention to detail and quality. Capability to read and follow blueprints or basic technical drawings and written instructions. Comfort using hand tools and power tools in a production or assembly environment. Ability to stand at a workstation and perform repetitive tasks for the duration of the shift. Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and consistency in all assembly work. Reliable work ethic with the ability to meet production goals and deadlines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous firearm assembly experience is a plus. Prior experience in a production, manufacturing, or mechanical assembly environment is beneficial. Familiarity with quality inspection practices in an assembly setting is helpful. Ability to work effectively in a structured, process-driven environment. Why Work Here? You will primarily work at a standing workstation, using hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks. The setting follows a structured production workflow focused on quality, safety, and efficiency, with clear processes and modern equipment supporting daily operations. Dress code is typical for a manufacturing environment, prioritizing safety and practicality. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Black Creek, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
