The purpose of this ASA(ALT) position is to provide comprehensive security, due diligence, administrative, and strategic support to ensure the effective execution of Army FUZE Security and Due Diligence missions and associated security functions. The Security and Due Diligence Analyst conducts research and analysis to produce Entity Vulnerability Assessments (EVAs), evaluating risk indicators to protect against foreign intelligence threats and activities detrimental to the U.S. Army. The position supports contractor vetting, cybersecurity compliance, personnel security oversight, and risk mitigation activities associated with Army innovation and acquisition programs.Essential Job Duties:
Conduct Entity Vulnerability Assessments (EVAs) on companies seeking to work with the Army Evaluate Foreign Ownership, Control, and Influence (FOCI) indicators Research foreign talent recruitment affiliations, foreign patents, and financial obligations Support personnel security clearance (PCL) and Facility Clearance (FCL) oversight activities Coordinate with security and due diligence organizations to identify and neutralize insider and foreign intelligence threats Assess cybersecurity compliance against NIST 800-171 and CMMC requirements Brief senior leadership and program managers on identified business and security vulnerabilities Perform security compliance reviews and audits Support strategic risk assessments associated with Army SBIR/STTR and xTech programs Execute additional security and due diligence related duties as assignedJob Requirements:
Experience and Expertise Required:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution Minimum 5 years of relevant experience Ability to obtain and maintain a min Secret Clearance Experience conducting research, analysis, or security-related assessments Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to analyze complex information and produce concise reports Experience with cybersecurity compliance frameworks preferred Familiarity with DoD security processes and contractor vetting preferred Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications and analytical tools Ability to work independently and in team environments Strong organizational and critical thinking skills Equal employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
