• Aggressive bonus plan Job description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive service and maintenance, possess mechanical knowledge, and be familiar with power tools and schematics. Responsibilities
• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Utilize POS software for auto estimating
• Troubleshoot and repair automotive electrical systems
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively
• Interpret and follow schematics for diagnostics and repairs

Essential Duties:

• Repair and Diagnosis:

  Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy. Diagnoses the cause of most malfunctions and executes repairs.

• Parts Coordination:

  Communicates with the parts stores to obtain necessary replacement parts.

• Safety and Service Assessment:

  Examines assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required. If additional work is needed, they promptly inform the store manager.

• Documentation:

  Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order. They also road test vehicles when required.

• Training and Compliance:

  Participates in sponsored training, keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know).

• Supervision:

  Supervises the work of any apprentice technicians as assigned.

• Shop Maintenance:

  Ensures customers' cars are kept clean, maintains a neat shop area, and is accountable for all owned tools and manuals Requirements
• Previous experience as a mechanic or technician
• Proficiency in automotive service and maintenance
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems
