Category Schools - Sign Language Interpreter Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in an educational setting by providing essential support as a Sign Language Interpreter for students and staff. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about facilitating communication and fostering inclusivity in schools. Your expertise will empower students who are deaf or hard of hearing to fully participate in classroom activities and school events.
Qualifications and Experience:
Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (such as EIPA, RID, or equivalent) Prior experience working in educational settings is highly valued Ability to adapt interpreting methods for a variety of learning and communication needs Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
