We specialize in sealcoating, crack sealing, line striping, and pavement restoration for residential and commercial clients. We're a small, tight-knit crew that takes pride in our work, our culture, and the way we treat the people we serve. . The Role We're looking for a hardworking, reliable, and motivated individual to join our crew as a full-time seasonal laborer. This is a physically demanding, outdoor job that rewards people who show up ready to work, take pride in quality, and want to be part of a team that operates with integrity. No prior asphalt experience is required — we will train the right person from the ground up. What You'll Be Doing Assisting with sealcoating applications using professional spray and bush equipment Crack sealing using hot rubber crack sealing equipment Setting up and breaking down job sites including traffic cones, barricades, and signage Loading and unloading equipment and materials at the start and end of each day Operating and maintaining small engine equipment including blowers, torches, and crack sealing units Performing daily equipment checks and reporting any maintenance needs Keeping the shop, truck, and trailer clean and organized Following all safety protocols and wearing required PPE at all times Representing Brotec Blacktop professionally in front of every client and bystander on the job site

What We're Looking For Required:

Reliable transportation to and from the shop Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in all weather conditions — including heat Strong work ethic and a positive, team-first attitude Ability to follow directions and work efficiently as part of a crew Valid driver's license A Plus —

Not Required:

Prior experience in landscaping, construction, labor, or any outdoor field work Familiarity or experience with small engine equipment Experience operating or working around trailers and heavy equipment What a Typical Day Looks Like You'll report to our shop at 7:00 AM, help load equipment and materials, and be on the road by 7:30. From there, the crew heads out to job sites across the Chippewa Valley — sometimes one large job, sometimes several smaller ones. You'll work alongside a small, experienced crew, take a 30-minute lunch break, and return to the shop at the end of the day to unload, inspect equipment, and close everything out for the following morning.
