Job Description

Lowe & Fletcher, Inc. is a specialist manufacturer of locking systems, Lowe & Fletcher Inc supplies a wide variety of locks for industrial and OEM applications. Our product range is extensice and includes simple mechanical locks, the latest electronic locks, and many customer solutions, enabling us to meet a diverse locking requirement.
Job Summary:
This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to begin their career in the manufacturing sector and possess a strong work ethic. The role involves assembling parts and products with precision and efficiency, adhering to all safety guidelines, and contributing to the overall production goals of our factory.
Essential Functions:
Assemble Products:
Accurately and efficiently assemble products or components, following specific instructions and using various hand tools and machinery.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
Maintain Equipment:
Perform basic maintenance on assembly machinery and tools, ensuring they are in good working order.
Workstation Operation:
Follow instructions & procedures to properly set up, inspect and operate various production equipment.
Follow Safety Procedures:
Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and improve assembly processes.
Record-Keeping:
Keep accurate records of production quantities and time spent on each task.
Flexibility:
Be willing to rotate through different tasks and workstations as needed.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to follow detailed assembly instructions. Basic math and reading skills. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Team player with excellent communication skills.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly role preferred although not required. Familiarity with power tools and machinery preferred although not required. Experience with computer-controlled equipment preferred although not required.
Physical Requirements:
• The role routinely requires standing for long periods, handling of materials, and the use of tools and machinery. • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
