Assembly Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team on the 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, packaging, and labeling products, as well as operating equipment and tools as required. You will work under supervision to maintain a high level of productivity and quality workmanship. Responsibilities Assemble, package, and label products. Operate equipment and tools, including impact wrench, drill, mallet, screwdrivers, and pneumatic rivet gun. Produce quality finished goods with minimal quality issues. Maintain assembly jigs, hand tools, and equipment in good working order. Understand basic product knowledge, including types of wheels, model numbers, bearings, nuts, and bolts. Keep a clean and organized workplace by properly storing tools and hardware and maintaining cleanliness. Notify Production Supervisor of any tools in need of repair, low inventory, or poor quality of assembled products. Accurately read assembly drawings for dimensions, parts list, assembly instructions, and CTQ's. Perform tasks safely, including wearing safety glasses and gloves as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Experience in manufacturing assembly preferred. Ability to read a tape measure in fractions and decimals. Familiarity with mechanical and power tools. Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with general production and labor. Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.47 - $18.47/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
