Assembler

Our client, a global leader in manufacturing, is looking for an Assembler to join their team in Coxsackie, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality mattresses using a variety of pneumatic tools and following established work instructions in a fast-paced, safety-focused manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble mattresses following established work instructions using pneumatic tools including c-ring hog-ring guns, staple guns, and hot glue guns Assemble Hot Melt Bond (HMB) units on the HMB machine and apply specified upholstered layers to HMB and open coil units Assemble foam encased pocketed coil units and complete final mattress assembly Inspect mattress components and finished units for unacceptable flaws or structural defects Read and follow production tickets accurately throughout the shift Communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers and management Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in compliance with all PPE requirements Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives

Requirements:

Prior experience with pneumatic tools and/or in a manufacturing environment preferred Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per shift, with overtime as required Ability to lift up to 120 lbs multiple times per hour; heavy loads must be team-lifted Ability to comprehend and follow written work instructions and production tickets Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment Safety-focused with willingness to wear required PPE at all times Comfortable working in an environment with high noise levels, hot raw materials, and limited chemical exposure

$23.00•$25.00 per hour (based on experience) 1st

Shift:

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM•2:30 PM 2nd
