Description:

Seeking Assembly Line Workers for an opportunity in Worthington, IN. Candidates will support seasonal seed processing, packaging, warehouse, and production operations. Must be comfortable working flexible shifts, lifting up to 60 lbs, operating equipment, and working in indoor/outdoor environments while following safety and quality procedures.

Requirements:

Ability to stand/sit for extended periods Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 60 lbs Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to operate forklifts and perform repetitive lifting/motions Strong attendance and reliability required Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to adapt to changing conditions and priorities Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to work rotational shifts and overtime as needed Steel-toe over-the-ankle work boots required Must wear required PPE and safety attire

Responsibilities:

Support seasonal seed processing, packaging, and warehouse operations Inspect, maintain, and manage seed inventory Receive and unload crop shipments safely and accurately Collect crop samples and enter scale ticket information into computer systems Perform harvest activities including husk and sort operations Operate drying and shelling equipment Supply seed to conditioning departments and apply seed treatments Label, tag, bag, palletize, and stage seed for shipment Perform warehouse duties including forklift operation, loading/unloading trailers, staging, receiving, and shipping Assist packaging operations and maintain inventory tracking Re-bag returned seed and inspect/clean storage boxes Assist with box washing, inspection, and repair processes Maintain plant cleanliness, painting, 5S duties, and general upkeep Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, and quality standards.
