Temp-to-Hire Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assembly Operator I to join our Fairview, NC facility. This role supports the production of relays and switches for the aerospace industry through precision component assembly and inspection. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong desire to learn, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality products. This position requires working with small components using microscopes, hand tools, and detailed work instructions. Key Responsibilities Assemble components using small hand tools and fixtures Inspect own work using quality standards, work instructions, and product prints Perform pull tests as required for specific operations Measure components using calipers, gauges, and other precision tools Complete production documentation to ensure product traceability Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic repairs as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area Follow all company policies, procedures, and EH&S guidelines Perform additional duties as assigned to support production needs Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience required Basic understanding of manufacturing principles (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity) Basic computer skills preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred Experience using measuring devices (calipers, gauges, etc.) preferred Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively Willingness to work overtime as needed Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time Ability to operate machinery and move between workstations Ability to work with small components, including use of a microscope Must be able to read and understand written instructions in English 10211161 Share this job Copied url To save a job sign in or get started To apply for this job email your details to I want more jobs like this in my inbox.
