Job Description

Job Title:
Assembly Senior Supervisor Job Summary:
This position is responsible for hands-on supervision of a small team of assembly technicians producing high-quality archery components through repetitive assembly using small hand tools and parts. This department also supports many special projects within operations and provides occasional assistance in shipping and other production departments as needed to ensure overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a great communicator with a positive encouraging attitude, very organized, and enjoys a variety of responsibilities each week. They will have basic computer skills used for updating files, general correspondence, and some virtual meeting participation.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and help assembly peers to ensure safe production
  • Work side-by-side with teammates to meet project quotas and goals daily
  • Act as a positive role model for others and be available to others within the department when guidance and training is needed
  • Coordinate and trouble shoot tasks related to special projects regularly
  • Inspection of completed product to meet high quality standards while meeting daily goals
  • Packaging of parts based on product
  • Accurately complete production logs as scheduled
  • Complete a variety of tasks as part of a team or individually with limited oversight
  • Must be able to stay on task, as a team and individual, and communicate deficiencies to division manager
  • Use computer skills to update files, send emails, participate in scheduled virtual meetings, and maintain SOPs for the department
  • Work side by side within the shipping or other production departments on occasion to support overall operational needs and efficiency
Position Requirements:
Effectively monitor, train, guide, and motivate a team Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good hand-eye coordination and safely handle sharp objects Must be mechanically inclined and understand how to use various hand tools Basic knowledge of math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Ability to read instructions and document builds properly Possess good communication skills Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn others as needed) Ability to work Monday - Thursday 6:30 am - 5:00 pm plus occasional overtime Fridays when needed Follow policies and procedures while promoting the same from teammates Great work ethic and high level of personal responsibility Wear safety glasses for 10 hours per day Sit and/or stand for 10 hours per day Occasional lifting, pulling, pressing, and carrying up to 40 pounds
Pay:
From $22.00 per hour
