CIE USA-Century Plastics , a division of the global enterprise CIE Automotive, is seeking a talented Assembly Production Supervisor to join our team.

Reports to:

Plant Manager Primary Purpose:

Effectively and efficiently supervise employees to manufacture and assemble parts.

Essential Functions:

• Direct and coordinate employees on daily work assignments.
• Coach, evaluate and discipline employees.
• Ensure adherence to production schedule.
• Assign operators to jobs on a rotational basis.
• Direct material handlers on movement of stock and color changes.
• Ensure plant cleanliness and organization, inside and outside of building.
• Ensure machine parameters are checked and recorded daily.
• Keep scrap to a minimum.
• Coordinate with the quality department to ensure all standards are met.
• Inform the maintenance department of all equipment and safety related problems.
• Approve the time clock report to ensure hours worked are correct.
• Review operator production reports and record daily production on reports.
• Communicate with all employees and departments.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Complete incident investigation and required documentation.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of injection molding, manufacturing, and supervisory experience
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to stand and walk
• Reach with hands and arms
• Climb, stoop, kneel, crouch
• Lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
