Assistant Accountant

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will support the accounting department by assisting with financial record-keeping, data entry, and reconciliation processes. Your contributions will help ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and smooth day-to-day financial operations. Duties Assist with maintaining the general ledger, including journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments Manage payroll data entry using systems such as Quickbooks to ensure accurate employee compensation processing Conduct data entry tasks related to financial transactions using accounting software like QuickBooks, UltraTax, and Tenantcloud. Reconcile accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial records Requirements Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles with a strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting software tools Familiarity with corporate accounting practices, and public accounting environments is preferred Strong skills in data entry, double-entry bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and balance sheet analysis Ability to perform detailed account analysis using tools like QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft Excellent math skills with the ability to handle complex calculations involving debits & credits and journal entries Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us as an Assistant Accountant if you're eager to grow your career in finance while contributing to a vibrant team dedicated to accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement!
