Purpose of Position:
Assist Branch Manager in leading a team of sales and service professionals to meet and exceed sales goals, member satisfaction targets, and operational excellence. Effectively manage a portion of the daily operations of the branch while ensuring compliance with credit union policies and procedures. Create Team stability by leading an engaged, well-coached team. Assume responsibility for the branch in the absence of the branch manager. This position requires someone who is very positive and outgoing with good communication skills.Key Characteristics of Position:
An understanding of scoring models, score enhancement, and effective sales strategies. This entails outlining benefits of products such as credit life, credit disability, mechanical breakdown protection, and GAP insurance. The ability to connect with the members and sincerely enjoys helping others. A creative self-starter, goal oriented, results driven, and enjoys competition.Minimum Formal Education:
Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred or equivalent educational experience.Experience:
Management experience in some capacity preferred. Three to five years experience performing all aspects of member services in a financial institution required.Other Requirements:
Must possess strong communication, customer service, and sales skills. Must be bondable. Will be required to obtain Financial Counseling Certification Program (FiCEP) certification.Desirable Characteristics:
Ability to interact well with the general public and present a professional, pleasant image to members and potential members. Sincerely enjoy helping others. Proven track record in sales.
